For more than a decade, the Indy Black Chamber of Commerce has been committed to empowering entrepreneurs, strengthening small businesses, and creating pathways to economic opportunity throughout our community. Through business education, technical assistance, access to capital, and strategic partnerships, we have helped more than 200 Black and minority-owned businesses graduate from our Wealth Building Through Business Ownership Cohort, supported more than 50 entrepreneurs through our Parachute Program, distributed over $2 million in loans, and helped businesses secure more than $100 million in contracts and economic opportunities.
Today, we invite you to be part of the next chapter.
The Economic Empowerment Capital Campaign is a bold initiative to raise $10 million by December 2027 to establish a permanent Entrepreneurship and Business Resource Center. This new home will provide entrepreneurs with year-round access to business education, mentorship, technical assistance, financing opportunities, professional co-working space, and networking opportunities. It will also allow us to relaunch our Kitchen Incubator Program, helping aspiring food entrepreneurs develop sustainable businesses and prepare for brick-and-mortar ownership.
Your investment is more than a contribution but it is an investment in people, businesses, families, and communities. Together, we can build a place where entrepreneurs have the resources they need to succeed, create jobs, generate wealth, and transform our local economy for generations to come.
For years, we have helped entrepreneurs build their businesses. Now, we invite you to help us build the home where future entrepreneurs will learn, grow, and thrive. Join us in shaping the future of entrepreneurship by investing in the Economic Empowerment Capital Campaign today.
