Indy Black Chamber | 2025 Year in Review

As we reflect on 2025, the Indy Black Chamber is proud to share a year defined by meaningful impact, intentional growth, and deepened connections across Greater Indianapolis. Our 2025 Year in Review video captures the momentum built through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to advancing Black and minority-owned businesses.

Throughout the year, we focused on meeting entrepreneurs where they are—providing access, education, and resources that translate into real-world outcomes. From business development to community investment, 2025 was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we move together.

Highlights from the Year

Business Spotlights & Ribbon Cuttings

We amplified the stories of three standout businesses and celebrated two ribbon cuttings—moments that symbolize progress, visibility, and sustained growth within our business community.

Digital Readiness & Reach

More than 170 local businesses became “digital ready,” gaining tools and support to strengthen their online presence. In total, we served over 1,000 physical businesses across Greater Indianapolis, expanding our reach and deepening our impact.

Financial Support for Entrepreneurs

Through grants and direct investment, we channeled more than $200,000 into local small businesses—reinforcing our commitment to equitable growth and economic empowerment.

Events & Workshops

Entrepreneurs engaged in 14+ curated events and more than 74 live workshops designed to educate, connect, and inspire. These sessions provided practical knowledge, mentorship, and valuable peer connections.

Cohorts & Program Graduates

Six cohorts completed Chamber programs in 2025, with over 40 graduates strengthening their leadership skills and business capacity—an investment in both present and future success.

Community Giving

Beyond business, we remained committed to service, donating over 100 meals to senior citizen communities and honoring our responsibility to support the broader community we serve.

The achievements highlighted in this year’s recap reflect more than numbers—they represent entrepreneurs supported, relationships strengthened, and pathways created. As we look ahead, we remain energized by the work before us and grateful to our members, partners, and community who make this impact possible.

Together, we are building an ecosystem where Black and minority-owned businesses don’t just survive—but thrive.
