WEALTH BUILDING CLASS

This 9-week business development training class is designed to embrace entrepreneurship by providing the foundation necessary to equip business owners for long term success. This class is geared for entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least a year delivering educational concepts that impact their knowledge of business acumen and generate a strategic plan for business sustainability.

These classes in business development not only set a foundation for business owners, but additionally give the participants an opportunity to network with industry professionals. These professionals will be an active resource for the participants as well. Participants will grow in industry knowledge as they learn from class facilitators on the topics of: Organizational Types, Time Management, Financial Management, Record Keeping, Branding, Trademark/ CopyRights, Creating a Business Plan, Risk Management, Insurance, Tax Planning & Reporting, and Selling Your Business. The class introduces the business owners to business attorneys, patent and trademark attorneys, CPA’s and Franchise owners. We invite several of our banking partners to facilitate and offer financial management tools to assist our participants as it relates to small business accounts, credit, loans, and financing.

After the successful completion of our class, IBCC members have the opportunity to meet with our partners at First Financial Bank to apply for our microloan program up to a maximum of $10,000 per borrower. Since the inception of our program in March 2019, we have graduated a total of 90 businesses.
